MARATHON, ON — The North of Superior Healthcare Group (NOSH) is thrilled to announce that the 2026 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign has raised a remarkable $12,954.99 in support of local healthcare excellence.
The week-long campaign was made possible through the overwhelming generosity of community members, local businesses, Tim Hortons guests, and the many dedicated volunteers who donated their time to decorate cookies throughout the week.
The proceeds from this year's campaign are dedicated to the "Vital Tools, Vital Care" campaign which supports the purchase of essential medical equipment for NOSH facilities. The funds from this year's campaign will be used to purchase a new cardiac heart monitor; an essential piece of equipment that ensures our medical teams can provide high-quality care to our communities. The timing of the donation provided a wonderful start to Nurses Week, highlighting the deep connection between community support and the frontline providers who utilize these vital tools every day.
“We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown throughout this year's Smile Cookie campaign,” said Mitchel Hatton, Fundraising Coordinator for NOSH. “From purchasing cookies to volunteering countless hours decorating them, this truly was a community effort. Every cookie purchased represents support for local healthcare and helps ensure our hospitals have access to the equipment needed to provide high-quality care close to home.”
NOSH extends its sincere appreciation to the Marathon Tim Hortons team, all campaign volunteers, community partners, and everyone who purchased cookies, plushies, or made donations throughout the campaign.
"We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown this year," Mitchel Hatton. "Seeing the community come together to fund life-saving equipment is truly inspiring. Together, we are creating Healthy Communities."
