The North of Superior Health Care Group – Wilson Memorial Hospital and The McCausland Hospital Sites has an immediate opening for a casual Housekeeping Aide
DUTIES:
Under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Manager, performs cleaning activities within assigned areas using well-established guidelines. Promotes sanitary conditions by adhering to all infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of infection. Adheres to Infection Control and OH&S guidelines for the handling, cleaning, disposing or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean up of infectious materials.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
OSSGD (Grade 12)
ABILITIES
Good organizational skills
Must adhere to Occupational Health & Safety & Infection Control Guidelines
Must be willing to work some weekend and later shifts
LANGUAGE
English (bilingual an asset)
