Pharmacy Technician
Full Time
Wage: $38.347 - $39.019
Wilson Memorial General Hospital site, with some required, occasional, travel to The McCausland Hospital site.
Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, and the guidance of external pharmacists, provides pharmaceutical support by: entering medication orders into Meditech™, and filling medication orders. All duties will be performed in compliance with best practices and relevant standards of practice.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of a Ministry of Colleges and University recognized and accredited Pharmacy Technician Program required
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists required.
- Previous experience pharmacy-related experience required.
- Computer experience (i.e. Word, Excel, and Meditech™)
- Demonstrated ability to function independently.
- Excellent communication, inter-personal and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning.
- Regular attendance is a requirement of the position.
Incentives:
$1000 recruitment allowance
