Physiotherapy Assistant
Temporary Full-Time (Maternity leave)
Under the direction of a Physiotherapist, will be responsible for routine treatment of both inpatients and out-patients including the application of modalities and the implementation of therapeutic exercise programs & classes as prescribed by the Physiotherapist. Will also be responsible for cleaning of supplies, equipment, and the department as well as some administrative/clerical duties.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a post-secondary Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Rehabilitation Assistant Program. Consideration will also be given to graduates from a University Baccalaureate Kinesiology Program.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant preferred.
Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required. All Candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if there are no successful bilingual (French/English) candidates.
